Why is the performance of the helical rack in the cutting machine better?
1. When the spur gear is meshed, the contact line is a straight line parallel to the axis. Therefore, the pair of tooth profiles enter the meshing or exiting at the same time along the tooth width, which is easy to cause impact and noise, and the transmission stability is poor, which is not suitable for high speed gears. transmission.
 
2. When the helical gear is engaged, there is a certain limit on the tooth height. Therefore, during the meshing process of the two tooth profiles, the length of the contact line gradually increases from zero, and gradually shortens from a certain position to the disengagement, that is, the helical gear enters. Both the disengagement and the disengagement are carried out gradually, so the transmission is smooth and the noise is small.
 
3. In addition, since the gear teeth of the helical gear are inclined, and the number of meshed teeth is more than that of the spur gear, the coincidence degree is larger than that of the spur gear. Since the gear teeth of the helical gear are spiral, the total length of the contact line on the tooth surface is longer than the tooth surface contact line of the spur gear of the same parameter in the meshing region, so the bearing capacity of the helical gear is also large.
